Beijing Chinese Restaurant is a local and family owned restaurant established in 1985.  We specialize in Szechuan and Peking cuisine and bring it right to the heart of Minnetonka.

In the early 1960's, the owner and manager, Paul Tso, moved from Hong Kong to Italy to cook Chinese food for a new Chinese restaurant being opened.  He combined the techniques and flavors he learned in Hong Kong to help create an authentic menu with genuine flavors.  7 years later, Paul moved to the United States where he was head chef at various restaurants.  In 1985,  he decided to open a restaurant that would incorporate his creative cooking skills and share it with the Twin Cities.

Since we opened our doors in November of 1985, we have provided the community with a quality dining experience.

 We do all we can to accommodate special requests.  If an entree contains any ingredients you dislike, we can omit them. Conversely, items can be added to a dish at an additional cost. Each entree is freshly prepared to order, so most of your requests can be easily accommodated.  Please let us know if there are any allergies or if you would like your meal MSG free.  If you do not see a particular entree on the menu, describe it and we will gladly make it for you.

We are proud to offer catering and special menus for large parties or groups.  Please inquire for details.
